Expectations for the Osaka-Kansai Expo

Welcome to the latest global event in Japan!
Some of my dear friends from abroad have said, “We want to visit the Osaka-Kansai Expo in Japan!” We are living in a world full of instability, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.I hope you have many wonderful encounters here, and that you’ll be inspired to share new insights and dream of a brighter future together with your friends and family.
Once again, thank you for coming to Japan!

Expectations for DOIC

Dobrý den! I look forward to DOIC serving as a meeting place where diverse information converges. Having worked with people from various industries, cultures, and languages across different countries, I am excited by the prospect of encountering exceptional talents beyond anything I’ve experienced before. I hope to share time in the seemingly free—yet inherently constrained—space of the Metaverse, where we can explore innovative ideas, technologies, and know-how that have the potential to steer society and the environment toward truth, goodness, and beauty. I eagerly anticipate encounters at DOIC that will lead us to a brighter future.

Overview of Our Organization / University / Research

The National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology (NCGG) was established in 2004 as Japan’s sixth National Center. It serves as a think tank for national policies related to healthcare, nursing care, and welfare—key areas in an aging society. NCGG conducts comprehensive research spanning basic, applied, clinical, and epidemiological studies on aging, working to promote the mental and physical independence of older adults and to realize a healthy longevity society. The Office for Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration actively shares information on age-friendliness—one of the world’s most pressing challenges—through the DOIC platform.
