Expectations for the Osaka-Kansai Expo

We look forward to reaching new audiences that we could not engage with through traditional physical exhibitions. As a globally recognized event, the Expo offers the potential to deliver information to people beyond the reach of conventional commercial trade shows. We have high expectations that it will serve as a new channel to connect with audiences previously inaccessible to us.

Expectations for DOIC

While we have previously introduced our research seeds online, static displays had limited impact. We see the metaverse as a dynamic and interactive new form of communication. Features such as guided tours and immersive experiences allow visitors to explore exhibits in a way that closely resembles real-life interactions, which we find highly appealing. Through DOIC, we hope to foster “serendipitous encounters” and create opportunities for new collaborations.

Overview of Our Organization / University / Research

Our university is an “integrated knowledge institution” where faculty members from the humanities, social sciences, and science & engineering come together on one campus, fostering education and research with a strong emphasis on social application. In the DOIC metaverse exhibition, we will showcase some of our key research achievements, including innovative new materials, devices, and design methodologies.
