We aim to accelerate our research at the Institute for Cell Design and Medical Sciences through collaboration with DOIC. By utilizing the metaverse, we hope to contribute to co-creating the future of medicine through enhanced industry-academia-government collaboration.

Overview of Our Organization / University / Research

The Institute for Cell Design and Medical Sciences was established in October 2023 as an international research and development hub, centered on Yamaguchi University’s strengths in innovative cell design technologies. The institute aims to continuously generate seeds for next-generation cell and gene therapies. We promote the practical application of cutting-edge immunotherapies and genomic medicine based on our innovative technologies, focusing on developing treatments for intractable diseases such as cancer and genetic disorders. Additionally, we aim to apply and validate these advanced therapies in companion animals.
