The Osaka-Kansai Expo is a highly meaningful initiative, serving as a platform for co-creation aimed at solving the challenges of future
society.We hope to actively take advantage of this opportunity, where people from diverse fields, generations, and nationalities can connect both in
the real and virtual worlds, fostering new dialogue and collaboration.

Expectations for DOIC

We see great potential in the DOIC as a “future co-creation space” leveraging the Metaverse.
By enabling free expression and interaction beyond geographical and time constraints, it offers significant value as a new platform where research, education, and industry converge. We also hope it will provide students and researchers with valuable opportunities to engage in dialogue across borders and disciplines, leading to new collaborations and ideas.

The Innovation Promotion Headquarters of Keio University is committed to contributing to society by addressing social issues and fostering innovation through the social implementation of Keio’s educational and research achievements. To realize this mission, we aim to revitalize a sustainable innovation ecosystem and build a robust startup ecosystem. We promote a wide range of initiatives—including support for the commercialization of research outcomes, intellectual property rights management, industry-academia collaboration, and the creation and growth of startups—by working in close partnership with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the university.
