The second chapter of DOIC is about to begin!
At the “DOIC Real Forum” on September 20 at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, DOIC’s closing event during the Expo, we received many enthusiastic messages from many people wishing for the continuation of DOIC’s activities.
In response to strong demand,, DOIC has officially decided to continue its activities after the Expo!
The number of participating universities and research institutes has grown from 20 at the time of the Expo to 50, and new co-creations between universities and companies have emerged from DOIC, and the community is growing with solid enthusiasm.
On November 4, we will hold a special event to kick off DOIC’s second chapter, presenting a digest of the 9/20 Osaka-Kansai Expo “DOIC Real Forum” and sharing DOIC’s vision for the future.
Please join us for a dialogue to make this circle of co-creation even more valuable.

In response to your feedback, DOIC will continue to evolve even after the Expo. We will share DOIC’s Beyond Expo vision of how to connect the knowledge of the 50 participating universities to social implementation.

DOIC is a project to build a global ecosystem of open innovation by industry, academia, and government on the occasion of the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025. It is a campus where people from around the world can share issues, seek solutions, and disseminate results.
In the metaverse provided by DOIC, various digital contents, including technological seeds, can be disseminated to the world and communicated anytime, anywhere. Industry, academia, government, municipalities, cultural figures, and citizens can collaborate through DOIC to form an organic network with people around the world.
